This year, Insightrix hosted, for the first time, the “Battle of Regions” fan contest. The contest was held via the Rider Tracker, as a brand new initiative as part of our weekly ‘Rider fan survey, on SaskWatch.ca. Fans from all over Saskatoon, Regina, our Northern region, and Southern Saskatchewan earned cumulative points throughout the Roughrider season for predicting actual Rider game stats. The winning region not only received bragging rights, but also to win cash money for their charity of choice. Insightrix donated $1,000 to a charity determined by the winning region’s popular vote.
Despite the tough season for our Green and White, Insightrix had a great time engaging with Saskatchewan residents through our dedicated fan site, www.letsgoriders.com.
In its first year, the “Battle of Regions” was a back and forth season- with Regina taking home first place by only a single point!!!
The “Battle of Regions” Final Scores are as follows:
Regina: 41 Southern Saskatchewan: 40 Saskatoon: 38 Northern Saskatchewan: 36 As for the Insightrix self-declared “experts” point total, the team finished on the plus side with 37.
Insightrix and SaskWatch Research™ would like to congratulate our Regina panelists who took the Rider Tracker survey, and everyone who participated in this year’s “Battle of Regions” fan contest.
